Valenumbra Commissions

Howdy!

Now that I routed you here, let's run over a few things before you can progress to the commissions page. By commissions me, you are agreeing that you read these terms and accept them. I am not responsible for your inability to read if we come across a problem in the process that is clearly outlined here. If you read this, it makes both our lives a lot easier.

My Rights:
⚘ I have the right to refuse or deny any commission without explanation.
⚘ I have the right to change, edit, and update these terms.
⚘ I have the right to refund any commission when I want to without explanation.
⚘ I have the right to price my work however I'd like.
⚘ I have the right to update my prices and commission types.
⚘ I have the right to blacklist anyone (this is most likely due to TOS violation, but will not be done without warning.)
⚘ I have the right to post/use artwork I make as an example of my work (or to promote my art) on any website.

Usage Policy:
⚘ Only me and the commissioner (or current owner of character/design) may use the artwork produced for them.You may:
⚘ Repost the artwork on any website as long as you properly credit me with one of my official links. Tag me! Please do not break links.
⚘ Use the artwork or design noncommercially (Icons, character coding, etc. Please do your research if you are not sure or ask me.)You may not:
⚘ Sell my artwork in any way or use it commercially (stickers, shirts, etc.)
⚘ Claim my work as your own.
⚘ Use my artwork as a NFT or base.

General:
⚘ You can communicate with me through email [email protected], Instagram DMs, or Discord DMs. Once we start using a location of communication, please do not switch around locations. I won't either! And if you would have a preferred form of communication but do not have access to it (ex: my instagram or discord) you can ask and we will move there!
⚘ The time it takes me to complete a commission depends on my workload and motivation. I will maintain consistent communication and let you know if I will be unusually late- but otherwise I usually will take anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks. If unforeseen situations come up this could take longer, but I will let you know.
⚘ Once I begin a commission, you may not ask for a character change (or additional characters).
⚘ If you create a hostile environment by being too aggressive, disrespectful, or difficult to work with I will refund your commission. This is not up for debate and you cannot refuse the refund or it will result in an automatic blacklist.
⚘ Please do not remove any watermark I put on my art.
⚘ We can discuss if you need a specific due date or set a time restriction for completion. Be aware if this is too small a time limit, I may refuse the commission and it is within my rights to do so.
⚘ You may ask for updates whenever you like (so long as you do not spam me), otherwise I will update you as I make progress.

Payment:
⚘ As of right now, I only accept PayPal and DA Points. (Note: sometimes I will only open my commissions to one or the other. Be sure to ask if you do not know!)
⚘ Payment is upfront and I will not start until I have received it.
⚘ All my prices are in USD.
⚘ I can give refunds at any point up until I have finished 50% of the work (ex: started color on a shaded portrait, the sketch and lineart done)
⚘ You are allowed to tip, but it isn't expected. It's very much appreciated though and I would be flattered, I certainly will not think less of you if not.

Headshots

A portrait of your character showing from the top of the head to just below the collarbone.Cost:

Lineless Headshots

A portrait of your character showing from the top of the head to just below the collarbone. Has no line art and will have minor alterations to color to show different areas and shading.Cost:

Chibi Fullbodies

A simplified and stylized full body of your character showing the entire design.
Note: very complex designs will be minorly simplified.Cost:

Customs

A new design based on what is given to me. Typically works best when given a species, moodboard (and/or color palette), along with a 'vibe' of the character. You may be very specific with what you want or as loose as you want and give me creative liberty.Sketchy/simple-
